 A network of walking paths winds through Jackson School Woods and the City of Hillsboro Natural Area, providing residents with an active transportation option for some of their neighborhood trips.

 Around the middle of the project site, the stream spreads out into a wetland area known as Glencoe Swale. Many swale-adjacent neighbors value their proximity to water and wildlife -- including the massive beaver dam visible in the foreground.
